MURPHY'S PEDIGREE

The only male in his litter, "Murphy" is a large, substantial dog with large bone and a strong male head with full dentition and coal black eyes.   He is well proportioned with a pleasing topline, good back,  plush coat; strong ligamentation and excellent feet and pasterns. His sidegait is long, low and powerful with an exceptional forehand and ring attitude plus.   His fun-loving, devoted personality makes him a joy to live with.  

Murphy earned 2 specialty majors (5pt & 3 pt) and 3 major reserves by his 2nd birthday, handled by Linda Bankhead, picking up a 2nd MA Senior Maturity Dog and 2nd GSDCA National placing along the way.   Due to career demands and his original handler retiring, Murphy took a nearly a year long sabbatical from the show ring. 

Murphy came back out with a bang on April 1, 2006 handled by a non-professional friend, who as a team were undefeated in winners, with Murphy finishing his Championship on May 27, 2006 with a Best of Breed over a Special.   Murphy is a specialty moving dog with the stallion breed type, balanced structure, and strong ligamentation necessary to be competitive in the all breeds.  Murphy's  sisters are Ch. Murphy is an efficient, assertive stud and is available to approved bitches.

Bred sparingly to date (3 bitches of various bloodlines) he produced large bone with substance, nice topline and curvy angles, rich pigment, plush coats, correct shoulder opening and ground covering, suspended gaits with sound temperaments.  Murphy's progeny have several class wins, including reserves from the puppy class, high futurity placings, and Reserve Maturity Dog.

  We were pleased to grow out Comet from 8 weeks to 5 months and share him with my very good friend Linda DeLarso of Jolin Shepherds.  

FLASH!  First time shown "MC" was Best Puppy and RWD from 6-9 puppy class at GSDC of Greater Wash. DC (MAJOR).

Judge, Randy Chestnut's critique:

RESERVE WINNERS DOG/BEST PUPPY: Very nice young dog (just made 6 months) with the fluidity I look for in movement. He has a very nice rear and front to match. He is also blessed with a strong back and correct croup. I look for coordination in movement, and this young guy never put a foot down wrong. Very nice extension in front and complete follow through in the rear. Should have a nice career.

Comet's career was put on hold for mom, Linda DeLarso, to have a baby.  He came back to the ring running in 2007 winning NE Reserve Maturity Dog, a Major Reserve and a 3 point MAJOR!

Dip, has had some nice class, several reserves and match wins while waiting to mature.

Flash: At the 2006 GSDC of Atlanta Fall Specialty Match "Scarlett was awarded Best Adult and "Dip" was awarded Best Opposite Adult under Denise Groenewald.
